Hails From: Italy

History: Contessa had resided in Italy until WWI, where she was captured and was sent to secret Nazi science labs where they tried to turn her into a bio weapon. She picked up a lot of chemistry and biology during her stay. She was experimented on to the end of WWII and escaped while the science labs were raided. In horror, she discovered they had transformed her lungs so that she breathed out a highly toxic vapor that killed anything in a 10 foot radius. Determined to survive, she went into hiding in the canals of Venice, independently studying everything that would help reverse what they had done to her. 60 years later, she only made minimal progress and gave up hope, exiling herself to the Egyptian Niles in despair. She was discovered by a little demon girl, whose family took her in and helped her condition. She then decided to become a teacher at Elysian, because the demon girl who found her had become a student there.

Description:
Contessa wears a mask that purifies her breath, making her deep sultry voice have a metallic echo. She speaks several languages, but has a slightly Italian accent. She keeps vials and syringes on her persons at all times which she administers to herself to weaken the poison, underneath her gloves are multiple needle punctures. She also smokes medicinal cigarettes that help purify her lungs, the smoke is purple and smells of lavender, it is safe to be near her when she is smoking. Military discipline had been driven into her from her stay with the Nazis, she is a severe, humorless person that demands competence and respect, she expects nothing less than perfection.
